WOW! 10 YEARS,18 micron, 99% CF

Diomedes' DIRK of Stirling Ridge

Huacaya Male White

AOA# 31414913 Deceased
We must say, with much sadness, Dirk is no longer with us. He had a urinary blockage and had to be put down on May 6, 2019 . The vets at WSU tried valiantly to save him, but it was obvious to all that he was going downhill. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord! Job 1:21 He was a phenomenal male. ______________________________________________________________ Look at his 2018 histogram. He's TEN years old. Do you think that might mean lingering fineness? Tundra has solid conformation, tremendous substance of bone, and quality fleece characteristics, including wonderful brightness, length, density, and one of the heaviest cutting fleeces on our ranch. She is currently open but can be bred to any of our unrelated herdsires for half price or those of Alpaca Harmony, LLC. And what an excellent mother Tundra was with her first cria, a beautiful lustrous white extremely soft female.

GENETICS: Sire's side: Peruvian Felix, Peruvian El Moustachio, & Peruvian Don Julio. Dam's side: Peruvian Aladdin

FLEECE: absolutely amazing length and wonderful brightness, with a nice soft handle and density

CONFORMATION: such strong bone, a healthy, well-conformed, balanced girl

Tundra's sire, EL CAMPEON, is a first place award winner for his terrific fleece he produces so much of every year. He has maintained his fineness well into his breeding years and is passing on his desirable fleece characteristics. Tundra's dam is one of our first purchases and still one of our favorite personalities. She makes taking care of alpacas easy and delightful, and has been an attentive and caring mother from the beginning.

All breedings to any of our studs are 1/2 price with the purchase of any of our females.
