Tasha is a phenomenal alpaca in her own right, but what makes her a superstar is she passes on her fineness, crimp, & color to produce award-winning offspring. As brand new alpaca owners, we were lucky to come across Tasha & make her our first purchase. She has an unbelievably soft handle for a 9-year-old alpaca. Her average fiber microns were at 22.7 when she was 7 years old, and at 8 years old she still had a comfort factor of 90%! Tasha is the dam of our studly herdsire, El Campeon, and another of our terrific foundation females, Makella. Makella
recently won first place and Reserve Color Champion at the Northwest
Alpaca Showcase 2007 for her 3-year-old fleece. We find only the best studs for Tasha as we know her potential, so we can not wait to see what she produces next!
