Catalina got all the attention at our shearing event this year. Her fleece is an exquisite medium to dark brown with density, fineness, and tight, consistent crimp. Her conformation is wonderful - straight legs, perfect bite, good size. She is one of those friendly, confident alpacas that catches your attention right away. And then when you start looking at her pedigree, you know you can't go wrong...especially if you are breeding for superior quality color. Catalina is out of ElDorado, a very studly charcoal grey. ElDorado is out of the amazing 4Peruvian Legacy along with a plethora of black and grey on his dam's side. Catalina's dam is our very own award-winning Makella. And the genetics on her side are just as impressive - Peruvian Accolade, Peruvian Augusto, Peruvian El Moustachio, & Peruvian Don Julio. We have a feeling this girl is going to be a ribbon-winner just like her mother.
