After over 40 years living in the hustle and bustle of Burbank,
California, we have opted for a lifestyle change that has turned
into a very enjoyable retirement. Bob has worked as an auto & RV
mechanic for as long as he can remember and owned his own shop,
Bob's Auto & RV Repair, for more than 25 years. Carol retired from
Kaiser Permanente after 35 years working in laboratory computer
systems management, and is now a full-time alpaca rancher.
The vision of the future started in 1999 with the purchase of our
first alpaca. Slowly but surely, our herd grew first in California,
then in Colorado. It wasn't until October of 2005 that we were able
to bring them home to our 24-acre ranch in Craigmont, Idaho. Since
then our herd has almost tripled in size. Enjoying the full ranch
experience, we now have many animals besides alpacas including 2
beautiful horses and several entertaining chickens. We are thrilled
to embark on this adventure in Idaho with a few less people, a few
less buildings, a much closer connection with nature, and all four
seasons.
