Huacaya Herdsire (Male) Dark Rose Grey

AOA# 20000394 DOB: 6/18/200518 yrs
Banderas is retired as a breeder. His info is here for reference. His last cria was a very dense and uniformly fine brown handsome little male - Spyker. Spyker is winning awards with his wonderful fleece! He is currently being offered as a junior herdsire and will likely be ready to breed starting 2024. Banderas is an EPD Top 1%er! His stats are excellent overall, but his EPD in staple length soars. Did you read Ian Watt's article in Alpacas Magazine? YES, length matters! To that end, we are ...

Sweet Pines Ciera

Huacaya Open (Female) Medium Fawn

AOA# 30457188 DOB: 7/29/200617 yrs
Ciera is being sold as a retired mama. She has produced many spectacular offspring and make a lovely pasture pet. Ciera: LASTING FINENESS, FANTASTIC BLOODLINES, confident easy-going personality, TERRIFIC HEAD, & RICH fawn COLOR. Ciera would make an excellent foundation female. Ciera's mother, Tasha Yar, is the granddam of our herd, and producer of many award-winners. Ciera's very studly charcoal grey sire, ElDorado, gives Ciera a high potential to throw grey and black. And with grandsires 4Pe ...

Breaking News! Dasher is a two time Color Champion. In his first show entered, Dasher took 1st place and 'Medium' Color Champion at the Fiber Fusion Northwest Fleece Show under judge Ruth Elvestad with excellent scores in uniformity and 15/15 for brightness. His second Championship was High Score at the AOA Spin-Off in 2014.

Banderas' Dasher has a breathtaking fleece with silky handle, great density, and lovely crimp style. He has always had that 'look at me' (shall we say 'dashing'?) presence as well. His head is very typey just like his dam's and his legs are straight and balanced with a nice broad chest. Dasher has elite genetics as well as depth of color in his background including grey. He would be wonderful for any color breeding program.

Dasher's sire is multi-champion rose grey Spanish Peaks Banderas. Banderas is producing amazing fineness (as low as 15 microns) on a variety of gorgeous colors including grey and black. He is a Victor grandson and his parents are directly from the Snowmass breeding program. Banderas has also produced top award winners including National Brown Color Champion Sweet Pines Torino, Dasher's 3/4 brother.

Dasher's dam, Sweet Pines Ciera, also has wonderful genetics and fineness in her background: top Peruvian herdsires 4Peruvian Legacy and Peruvian El Moustachio. Ciera is an award winner for her fleece and maintains a low micron very soft fleece well into adulthood. She has produced wonderful offspring, all of them with lasting fineness.
